Fees
Consulting Fees
Dr Oh’s practice is a private billing practice and consultation fees apply. If you have a Medicare card and a GP referral, you will receive a rebate on a portion of your consultation fees from Medicare. Private health funds do not provide a benefit for outpatient specialist consultations.
Surgical Fees
Once it has been determined that you require surgery, our staff will provide you with a fee estimate for your surgery. You will receive a rebate on a portion of your surgical fees from Medicare and your private health fund.
Public Patients
Dr Oh has a public hospital appointment at St Vincent’s Hospital and surgery can be covered by Medicare. There is a waitlist for elective surgery.
Uninsured Patients
If you do not have private health cover and would like to proceed with surgery in the private system, our staff will be able to assist you with an uninsured fee estimate once it is determined that you require surgery.
WorkCover Insurance
If you have a WorkCover claim, our practice will bill your insurer directly and you will have no out-of-pocket costs associated with your consultation and surgery. Please note you will require a valid WorkCover claim number and insurer approval prior to your consultation and surgery.
Third Party (CTP) Insurance
Please note payment is required on the day of consultation. Our rooms will issue a receipt which you can submit to your insurer for a rebate. For surgery, our practice will bill your insurer directly and you will have no out-of-pocket costs associated with your surgery. You will require a valid CTP claim number and insurer approval prior to your surgery.
